Story
For many years, the Grublands, an isolated region of the planet Orgenesis, has been inhabited by the species known as Chrysaliths.
The Chrysaliths have an unusual and curious lifespan - in their youngest stage, they appear as small grubs, tiny worm-like insects.
As they mature, Chrysaliths create and inhabit a cocoon made of stone that grows exponentially, incorporating the dead matter that the
grub consumed prior.
For unknown reasons, what the Crysalith consumes as a grub does not merely sustain them - instead, it affects their form and their memories
and habits as they metamorphose and mature into adults. When they crack free of their cocoon, the Crysalith has become a being composited of
many dead beings and objects, potentially including human beings, animals, discarded toys and furniture, or anything else with form and function of
its own.
You emerge into the Grublands as an adult Chrysalith, burdened with crucial memories that may help you and your fellow Chrysaliths uncover the
mysteries of the Grublands - Why does it exist as it does? Why are Chrysaliths what they are? What were the humans doing in the Grublands, and why
are they no longer there? These questions and many more await you in GRUBLANDS.
